Known for her ability to accurately and realistically depict the intricacies of the human body, Patricia Borque paints scenes that truly are a slice of life. Without having formally studied painting, her work is a reflection of natural talent. From the subject’s French braids to her fingernails, Borque has painting an almost photographic depiction of the young dancer. As well, her body language and facial expression convey the curiosity, the innocence of childhood.
