PETER CLAPHAM SHEPPARD

In this piece, P.C. Sheppard has created an impressionist depiction of a quick-flowing river, running through a forest. Highly texturized, this piece conveys the rawness of nature. The dramatic earth tones create a crisp fall landscape during the time of the season when the trees that become bare, do, while the rest take on the various shades of autumn.
