Winter Evening
12" x 10"
This piece depicts a vast landscape, as though the viewer is standing on a mountain and staring out across the countryside. The artist uses soft colours in the sky and mist. As well, the farther away the gaze of the piece reaches, the vaguer the details become. The artist utilizes all of these elements together to create a sense of mystery. The feeling created by this vast and immense scene seems to suggest that there will always be a world beyond the one we already know.
